CJ Radio is Manitoba's fastest-growing broadcaster and we have openings for two summer sales positions.  One position will be located in Swan River with the other in Neepawa. 

The successful applicants will have the desire to participate in a fast-paced sales environment that rewards skill and success. Radio sales training will be provided but it is best that applicants already understand sales basics. Salary is somewhat negotiable, but these are entry level positions geared for students who are ready to enter the workforce. Successful applicants who demonstrate their abilities during the summer will be offered a full-time position on our sales force.

15. Music Industry Internship, Manitoba Music (extended one week)
The Music Industry Internship Program supports paid internships at established and recognized music companies in Manitoba. The purpose of the Music Internship Program is to support the creation of sustainable jobs in Manitoba’s music industry, to mentor new workers in the music industry, and to provide human resource assistance to Manitoba companies with a shortage of skilled labour.

All eligible company applications will be reviewed and successful companies will interview and select an intern from the pool of eligible intern applicants.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist the VP of Sales & Marketing in designing and producing marketing products promoting the company and its products
  • Maintain and refresh company website
  • Assist in developing and implementing Point of Purchase materials
  • Create and develop corporate posters, banners, advertisements, etc
  • Write blogs, articles on products, service and other offerings. Establish a presence on social networking sites
  • Assist with development of trade show and career symposium promotional materials
  • Assist with coordinating public and private marketing & sales events
  • Provide ongoing support for the marketing program
Candidate must possess:
  • Solid understanding of print design requirements
  • Previous design experience preferred
  • Driven and creative, inventive and imaginative
  • Must be able to work well under pressure, handle tight deadlines and changing demands
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Professional and engaging personality
